On Avenue Guemassa, the airport road, five minutes from the main hotels and Jemaa el-Fna square, The Montgomerie Marrakech lays out its 18 holes over 75 hectares. Colin Montgomerie and European Golf Design signed the layout: a par 71 of 6,230 metres with 81 bunkers, where the opening hole lines up on the minaret of the Koutoubia.
Water comes into play at the 8th, a par 3 played across water, then at the 17th, 375 metres long, beside a triple-fountain lake. A large practice area awaits players; buggies, trolleys and caddies are available.
