Rotana Palmeraie Golf Club, the official name of the Palmeraie golf course, sits on the Circuit de la Palmeraie, about 10 km from central Marrakech, next to the Pickalbatros hotels. The FRMG lists 27 holes: an 18-hole par 72 by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and a 9-hole par 36 by Stéphane Talbot, both described below. The estate covers 60 hectares. No green fee is published (checked 9 Oct 2026), so ask for the price when you book, and budget for a caddie, compulsory on every Moroccan course since the FRMG circular of 29 May 2025.

The art of the game in the heart of the Palmeraie

The club offers an 18-hole, par 72 course of 6,200 metres, designed by the undisputed master of golf course architecture, Robert Trent Jones Sr., alongside a 9-hole, par 36 course of 3,309 metres designed by Stéphane Talbot.
This championship layout, known for its balance and flow, is among the most beautiful in Marrakech. It appeals both to amateurs looking for enjoyment and to experienced players keen to take on a challenge worthy of their ability.

Golf Club Rotana

Beyond the course, the club stands out for the range of its facilities. Outdoor and indoor driving ranges, coaching workshops, a pro shop, caddies and modern equipment ensure golfers are well looked after. Buggies and trolleys, manual or electric, make getting round easy, while the resort’s warm welcome and the option to stay on site extend the experience in a friendly atmosphere. Even four-legged companions are welcome, a sign of the open, welcoming spirit of the place.

Playing at Rotana Palmeraie Golf Club means an immersion where a technical layout meets grand scenery, an experience that brings together sport, relaxation and refinement in the heart of the Palmeraie. Every round becomes a journey, shaped by the light of Marrakech and the majesty of the Atlas Mountains.

The 18-hole par 72 layout was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., in the heart of the Marrakech palm grove. It is played as two loops of nine, the outward half called "Jbilettes" and the inward half "Atlas", with fairways winding around several large ponds. The Royal Moroccan Golf Federation lists it as Rotana Palmeraie Golf Club, together with a nine-hole par 36 course by Stéphane Talbot; the Pickalbatros hotels of the Palmeraie are its neighbours.
