In 1971 King Hassan II gave Rabat a complex dedicated to golf. Laid out by Robert Trent Jones, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam covers 440 hectares in the heart of a cork oak forest. Its 45 holes form three courses: the Red, 18 holes over 6,702 metres; the Blue, an 18-hole par 72 of 6,205 metres; the Green, a nine-hole par 32 of 2,170 metres. On the Red, the 9th, a par 3, is played over a lily pond to an island green.
The club's 2025 rates list a public 18-hole green fee of 1,200 MAD on the Red and 850 MAD on the Blue.
