Atlas Golf

Royal Golf Marrakech, known as the Old Course, is much more than just an 18-hole course. It is a true historic garden where every step conveys the elegance and serenity of a place shaped by almost a century of tradition. From the entrance, visitors are wrapped in a peaceful atmosphere, heightened by more than fifteen thousand trees that provide shade and cool air throughout the round. The carefully tended vegetation creates a rare setting where natural beauty blends with the art of landscaping, an ideal backdrop for a round in complete tranquillity.

Opened in 1927, this is one of the oldest courses in Marrakech and remains an institution for golf lovers. Designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy, visionary pioneers, it offers a timeless layout that has stood the test of generations without losing its charm. For almost a century, Royal Golf Marrakech has drawn both keen golfers looking for a technical test and curious visitors eager to discover a place steeped in history.

Opened to its first players in 1927, Royal Golf Marrakech was designed by Gustave Golias and Arnaud Massy. Its Old Course runs to 18 holes, par 72, over 5,871 metres and 56 hectares, shaded by some 15,000 trees: palms, orange trees, eucalyptus and pines. It features the par 3 known as "Brigitte Bardot", named by King Hassan II, and the course was refreshed in 2020 and 2021 (bunkers and tees renovated, five greens rebuilt).

Since 2008, the nine-hole, par-36 New Course by Gery Watine and Thierry Sprecher has completed the complex. Good to know: since 28 May 2025, a caddie has been compulsory.
