Tazegzout Golf

A few kilometres north of Agadir, Tazegzout Golf is a spectacular gem of the Atlantic coast.

Built on a cliff overlooking the ocean, this 18-hole par 72 offers an experience where the game merges with the raw beauty of the seascape. Golf here takes on a grand dimension, driven by the power of the elements and the majesty of the setting.

Each hole is designed like a piece of stagecraft. Players move through striking views, where the horizon melts into the waves and the shifting coastal light enhances every shot.

The layout makes full use of the natural terrain, alternating between steep slopes, open areas and dizzying vistas that stimulate strategy as much as wonder.

Tazegzout Golf

Beyond the technical challenge, Tazegzout Golf wins you over with its immersive character. Playing this course means feeling the force of the ocean, the calm of the cliffs and the elegance of a layout designed to show off the surrounding nature.

The atmosphere is both sporting and contemplative, turning every round into a memorable experience where performance and emotion meet.

Excellence on top of the cliffs

Tazegzout Golf captures the very essence of golf in Morocco: a place where the game goes beyond the round itself to become a journey for the senses, a complete immersion in an exceptional landscape, combining technical challenge, grandeur and natural poetry.

Fifteen minutes from downtown Agadir, at km 17 on the Essaouira road, Tazegzout Golf covers 76 hectares of the Taghazout Bay resort. Designed by Kyle Phillips and opened in 2014, this 18-hole par 72 of 6,730 metres unfolds in two loops of nine, the Green and the Red, on a clifftop 80 metres above the sea.

The layout preserves the existing argan trees as far as possible, and irrigation uses recycled water. A nine-hole short course, the Blue, sits on the lower level. The course is open all year round, from 7am to sunset, and the pro shop hires out clubs.
