For a golf trip to Marrakech from the UK or Ireland, the direct routes airlines publish this winter leave from London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin, all with Ryanair, taking 3 h 35 to 4 h 05. London Luton’s airport page also lists Marrakech, at 3 hours 40 minutes. From the continent, Geneva (easyJet, according to the airport) and Brussels-Charleroi (Ryanair) fly direct too. Since 20 September 2026 Morocco has been on GMT, so in winter there is no time difference with London or Dublin. Six courses sit within half an hour of Marrakech airport: land before midday and you can play the same afternoon.

This guide lists the direct routes we could verify on airline and airport websites on 19 October 2026, the winter timetables, the time difference and the drive times from the airport to the courses. One thing first: we do not sell flights. You book your own flight, and we arrange the rest of the trip.

Direct flights to Marrakech, airport by airport

The table only shows what airlines or airports publish. Times are from Ryanair’s November 2026 timetable, in local time; with the UK, Ireland and Morocco all on GMT in winter, the flight time is simply the difference.

Ryanair’s route list also includes Liverpool and Newcastle to Marrakech, but its timetable shows no flights from either between November 2026 and February 2027; both reappear at the end of March 2027. Brussels Zaventem is listed with no flights from November to March. A route on the list is not a promise of frequency, so check the days it actually flies for your dates.

What we could not confirm. British Airways from Heathrow or Gatwick: its website did not load when we checked. Jet2: the latest official schedule we have seen runs only to 13 November 2026. Aer Lingus: its Dublin-Marrakech page says fares “may include connections”, which does not establish a non-stop service. easyJet: its own site could not be read when we checked. If you fly with any of these, check on the airline’s site that the flight is non-stop.

Time difference: none in winter

Since 20 September 2026 Morocco has run on GMT: decree no. 2.26.530, published in Official Bulletin no. 7521 of 29 June 2026, set that return to GMT and repealed the 2018 decree that had introduced GMT+1. From 25 October 2026, when UK clocks go back, to 27 March 2027, Marrakech is therefore on the same time as London and Dublin, and an hour behind Paris, Brussels and Geneva.

Once the UK moves to British Summer Time on 28 March 2027, the clocks are an hour apart (two hours with Paris, Brussels and Geneva): Ryanair’s timetable for 29 March 2027 shows Newcastle 05:55 → Marrakech 08:50, a flight of 3 h 55 across the time change. Always work from the local times on your ticket.

Flight booked? Depending on your arrival time, a same-day round is possible. We build the trip to measure: courses, tee times, accommodation and transfers.

From Marrakech airport to the courses

Marrakech Menara airport is on the south-west side of the city. Drive times below are calculated on the actual road network with OSRM, without traffic, from the terminal:

CourseDistanceDrive timePublished 18-hole green fee
The Montgomerie3.9 km8 min700 MAD (9 holes: 400 MAD)
Noria Golf Club7.7 km14 minNot published
Fairmont Royal Palm11.8 km15 min2026-27 rate not published
Royal Golf Marrakech11.1 km16 min1,200 MAD
Samanah Golf Club14.4 km20 min1,100 MAD (public rate)
Al Maaden Golf13.6 km22 min1,350 MAD (high season)

Samanah itself says it is 15 minutes from the airport; our routing gives 20 minutes to the location the club publishes. Green fees were re-read on the clubs’ rate cards on 19 October 2026. A caddie has been compulsory on every course in Morocco since a Royal Moroccan Golf Federation circular of 29 May 2025; at Royal Golf Marrakech the forecaddie is paid in cash, 200 to 300 MAD per caddie depending on the size of the group. Which arrival time lets you play on day one

Allow for disembarking, baggage reclaim including the golf bag, then the drive. On the November 2026 timetables:

  • Morning arrivals (Stansted 09:30 to 10:00, Dublin 09:20 to 11:30, Manchester 09:25 or 10:45, Birmingham 10:00 or 10:25): time for 18 holes, for example at Royal Golf Marrakech, 16 minutes from the airport.
  • Lunchtime arrivals (Edinburgh 12:15, Manchester 12:00 on some days, Charleroi 13:30 to 13:45): nine holes at The Montgomerie, 8 minutes away, at 400 MAD for visitors.
  • Evening arrivals (Stansted 17:15 to 18:35, Manchester 18:15 to 20:40, Dublin 17:00 to 00:35): no golf that day; first tee time the next morning.

One guide for short winter afternoons: the Royal Golf Marrakech clubhouse is open from 8am to 6pm. For nine holes on arrival day, confirm the last tee time with the club when you book.

Going home: a last round before the flight

Ryanair’s November 2026 timetable out of Marrakech has two waves of departures. To London Stansted, flights leave between 09:55 and 10:35 or between 17:40 and 19:00; to Manchester, 09:50 to 12:25 or 18:40 to 21:05; to Dublin, 09:45 to 12:10 or 16:45 to 20:05; to Edinburgh at 12:40 or 19:05; to Birmingham at 10:25 or 10:50.

An evening flight leaves time for a full 18 holes on the last morning, at Royal Golf Marrakech 15 minutes from the terminal or The Montgomerie 8 minutes away. A late-morning flight means the last round is played the day before. Either way, leave the margin your airline asks for at check-in, especially with a golf bag.

Golf bag and paperwork

A golf bag almost always has to be booked and paid for on top of any hold bag, and fees vary a lot between airlines. We have set them out airline by airline in our guide to flying to Morocco with golf clubs. Add the clubs when you book the flight: that is when they cost least.

Paperwork: UK travellers need a passport with an expiry date at least 3 months after the date they arrive, and can visit without a visa for up to 90 days (gov.uk). Irish passports should have at least 6 months’ validity from the date of entry (ireland.ie). France’s foreign ministry states that a national identity card alone is no longer accepted for entry, and that travellers should check on arrival that their passport has been stamped by border police (page updated 15 September 2026).

What you book, what we arrange

We sell neither flights nor package holidays, as our French offer page states in so many words. You choose the flight that suits your airport and dates. The rest is built around your times: a private villa for 3 to 21 people with a dedicated chef, private transfers between the airport, the villa and the courses, and rounds chosen with you from the 13 Marrakech courses on our site. Our golf holidays in Marrakech start at €1,150 per golfer, about £970 at the European Central Bank rate of 19 October 2026.

Put your flight times in the quote request: a morning arrival means an afternoon tee time can be booked for the same day, an evening one moves the first round to the next morning. To pick the courses, our page on golf in Marrakech covers all 13.

Put your flight times in your request: tee times are chosen around them. We build the trip to measure: courses, tee times, accommodation and transfers.

Yes, if you land in the morning. The Montgomerie is 8 minutes from the airport and Royal Golf Marrakech 16 minutes, by our route calculation. With a lunchtime arrival, plan nine holes rather than 18.
