Opened in 2025 on the southern side of Marrakech, Akenza is an 18-hole par 72 stretching to 7,150 yards from the furthest-back tees. Its layout, by Kyle Phillips, draws on the landscapes of Arizona: on eight holes you must carry the ball over natural wadis and rocky canyons. The 18th, a dogleg par 5, runs along water down its entire right side.
The estate, developed by the Moroccan group Alliances Créations, is a quarter of an hour from the city centre, on the extension of Boulevard Mohammed VI.
