Lake and fairway on a Marrakech course, the Atlas range on the horizon

The cheapest 18-hole green fee published by a Marrakech club is at The Tony Jacklin Marrakech: 600 MAD for a visitor. Next come Atlas Golf (650 MAD, two loops of its 9-hole course) and The Montgomerie (700 MAD). At the top end, Assoufid (1,300 MAD) and Al Maaden (1,350 MAD) post the highest 2026-27 rates, and several clubs have not yet published their new price lists. For quality rather than price, see our ranking of the best golf courses in Marrakech.

Marrakech green fees, cheapest first

We re-checked every price below on 8 October 2026, on each club’s (or operator’s) own rates page. These are public visitor rates in Moroccan dirhams; we have not converted them, as the clubs quote MAD. Where a club shows no validity period we say so: it is the price displayed that day, with no commitment from the club on how long it will hold.

No 2026-27 rate published yet:

  • PalmGolf Marrakech Ourika: the rates page still shows the price list that ran to 30 September 2026, now expired.
  • Fairmont Royal Palm: only the “Seasons 2025-2026” table was online, and the club’s website no longer responds (16 October 2026); that low season ended on 4 October 2026 and the club warned that rates change each season. It also requires a valid licence and a handicap of 28 or better.
  • Noria Golf Club, Golf Akenza, Golf Club Rotana: no rates published by the clubs; only resellers show prices, which we do not repeat.

For these courses we ask for the current rate when we quote.

What a round really costs: green fee, caddie, buggy

The green fee is only part of it. Two clubs show a compulsory caddie and its fee on their rate cards, which reshuffles the comparison (a Royal Moroccan Golf Federation circular of 29 May 2025 actually makes a caddie compulsory on every course):

  • Royal Golf Marrakech: a forecaddie has been compulsory since 28 May 2025, following a note from the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation. For 18 holes it costs 200 MAD for one or two players, 250 MAD for three and 300 MAD for a fourball, paid in cash to the caddie. In a fourball that is 75 MAD each, so 1,275 MAD per player in total.
  • Fairmont Royal Palm: at least one caddie per group, 200 MAD a round, paid in cash (2025-26 table; club website offline on 16 October 2026).

Buggies add up too: from 350 MAD at The Montgomerie and The Tony Jacklin to 450 MAD at Assoufid and Royal Golf Marrakech for 18 holes, so 175 to 225 MAD each when shared. A pull trolley is 50 MAD at The Montgomerie and The Tony Jacklin, 70 MAD at Royal Golf Marrakech.

On the plus side, some clubs include range balls in the green fee (Assoufid; a warm-up basket at Fairmont Royal Palm in its 2025-26 table).

Six ways to pay less, where the clubs document them

We only list discounts the clubs publish themselves.

1. Pick from the bottom of the table

The gap is wide: 18 holes at The Tony Jacklin (600 MAD) is less than half the price of Al Maaden in high season (1,350 MAD). Over a five-round week, mixing courses under 700 MAD with a couple of big names makes a real difference. The Montgomerie, a Colin Montgomerie par 71 of 6,230 metres, is about 10 minutes (5 km) from Jemaa el-Fna square: handy for a morning round with no long transfer.

2. Play nine holes

Every club in the table except Samanah publishes a 9-hole rate: 400 MAD at The Montgomerie and The Tony Jacklin, 450 MAD at Atlas Golf, 550 MAD at Amelkis, 700 MAD at Royal Golf Marrakech and Assoufid, 750 MAD at Al Maaden. Useful on arrival day or for a partner who is new to the game.

3. Come in summer

Two clubs publish summer pricing. Al Maaden drops to 840 MAD for 18 holes and 500 MAD for 9 in low season, from 1 July to 4 September 2027, cheaper than Amelkis the rest of the year. Atlas Golf shows “summer rates” of 500 MAD (18 holes) and 300 MAD (9 holes), without dates. Fairmont Royal Palm also had a low season in 2025-26 (1 July to 4 October 2026); its 2026-27 table is not online yet. Bear in mind that Fairmont Royal Palm closed its course from 15 August to 30 September 2026 for seasonal maintenance.

4. Play in the afternoon

In Marrakech only Fairmont Royal Palm publishes time-of-day rates. In its 2025-26 table, a non-resident 18 holes in high season went from 1,400 MAD (8am to 2pm) to 1,250 MAD after 2pm. No other club publishes a twilight rate, so we do not promise one, but we ask for your dates.

5. Take a package

  • Fairmont Royal Palm, 4-night golf package: room and breakfast, 2 green fees at Fairmont Royal Palm, 1 green fee at Noria with transfers, Country Club access, 15% off spa treatments and return airport transfers. Bookable until 19 December 2026, four nights minimum. No price shown.
  • Atlas Golf passes: the “Passion Pass” at 850 MAD combines an 18-hole green fee and lunch; the “Swing, Lunch & Swim Pass” at 800 MAD covers 9 holes, lunch and spa pool access.

6. Check whether a reduced rate applies to you

Clubs show lower prices for Royal Moroccan Golf Federation licence holders (450 MAD for 18 holes at The Montgomerie and The Tony Jacklin, 600 MAD at Amelkis), members of Moroccan clubs (300 MAD for 9 holes at Atlas Golf), residents of Morocco (Assoufid, Fairmont Royal Palm) and juniors under 18 (500 MAD for 18 holes at Assoufid, 350 MAD at Amelkis). A visitor from the UK or Ireland normally pays the visitor rate; the junior rate is the one that genuinely helps families.

A budget week in Marrakech

An example built only from displayed visitor rates: The Tony Jacklin (600 MAD), The Montgomerie (700 MAD), Atlas Golf (650 MAD), Amelkis (950 MAD), and one bigger name to finish, say Royal Golf Marrakech (1,200 MAD plus a share of the caddie). Green fees total 4,100 MAD per player, before buggies and caddies, against 5,900 MAD for the five most expensive courses in the table (Al Maaden, Assoufid, Royal Golf Marrakech, Samanah, Amelkis).

For the rest of the budget (flights, hotel, transfers), see what a golf week in Morocco costs, and for other cities, green fees across Morocco.
