Golf villa in Marrakech with a private chef: what it costs
- 19 October 2026
Our private-villa golf stay in Marrakech starts at €1,150 (about £970) per golfer, covering the villa, a dedicated chef, private transfers and the courses chosen with you; no length of stay is set for that starting price. On the five-star hotel side, no Marrakech golf package shows a price: Fairmont Royal Palm, La Mamounia and Amanjena publish what they include, not what they cost. What can be priced the same way everywhere is the golf: green fees published by the clubs come to 4,550 to 5,900 MAD per player for five 18-hole courses, as of 19 October 2026, plus a caddie, which is compulsory.
What the stay from €1,150 per golfer includes
Our page on golf holidays in Marrakech lists four items, quoted here as published:
- a private villa for 3 to 21 people;
- a dedicated chef, cooking in the villa to the group’s tastes and timings;
- private transfers between the airport, the villa and each course;
- rounds on Marrakech’s courses, chosen with you (the city has 13 courses within a short drive of one base).
Prices start at €1,150 per golfer. We do not sell flights or packages: you book your own flights, and we handle the airport welcome, transfers, accommodation, golf and activities.
The page does not set a number of nights or rounds for that starting price. That is how a tailor-made trip works: length of stay, the courses you pick, group size and the villa set the final price. To compare with a hotel, ask for a quote that itemises every line: nights, number of rounds and which courses, meals cooked at the villa, drinks, caddies and buggies. The request form also lists “Private chef” among its optional extras, so ask what the quote provides for the chef.
The golf, line by line: what the clubs publish
Golf costs the same whether you sleep in a villa or a hotel, unless a hotel package bundles it. Here are the visitor 18-hole rates checked on the official websites on 19 October 2026, with caddie and buggy fees as published:
| Course | 18-hole green fee | Caddie, 18 holes | Buggy, 18 holes | Validity shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Al Maaden Golf | 1,350 MAD | 200 MAD, on request | 400 MAD | High season, 5 September 2026 to 30 June 2027 |
| Assoufid Golf Club | 1,300 MAD | 250 MAD, on request | 450 MAD | 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027 |
| Royal Golf Marrakech | 1,200 MAD | Compulsory, per caddie: 200 MAD (1 or 2 players), 250 (3), 300 (4), cash | 450 MAD | None |
| Samanah Golf Club | 1,100 MAD | Not published | Not published | “Seasonal variations” |
| Amelkis Golf Club | 950 MAD | Compulsory, no price on the club’s card | 400 MAD | None |
| The Montgomerie | 700 MAD | 150 MAD | 350 MAD | None |
| Atlas Golf (9 holes played twice) | 650 MAD | 120 MAD | 400 MAD (“caddy car”) | None |
| The Tony Jacklin Marrakech | 600 MAD | 150 MAD | 350 MAD | None |
Fairmont Royal Palm publishes no current rate card (the golf club’s website has been offline since 14 October 2026), PalmGolf Ourika still shows a card that expired on 30 September 2026, and Noria, Rotana and Akenza publish no fixed visitor rate.
For five 18-hole courses, green fees add up to between 4,550 MAD (The Montgomerie, The Tony Jacklin, Amelkis, Samanah, Royal Golf Marrakech) and 5,900 MAD (Al Maaden, Assoufid, Royal Golf Marrakech, Samanah, Amelkis). The caddie comes on top of every round: the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation made caddies compulsory on all courses in a circular of 29 May 2025. At Royal Golf Marrakech the fee is per caddie, not per player, so a fourball sharing one caddie pays 75 MAD each. The full calculation, by price band, is in our Marrakech golf holiday cost guide.

Villa, chef, transfers: the lines with no public price
None of these three items has a public price in our offer or on the golf clubs’ websites we checked. They are quoted for your dates. What moves the price:
- The villa: its size (3 to 21 guests in our offer), where it sits relative to your chosen courses, and the season.
- The chef: how many meals are cooked at the villa (breakfast before the tee time, lunch, dinner), how many people eat, the menu and the drinks. Ask whether the food shopping is included.
- The transfers: the number of airport, villa and course runs, a vehicle large enough for the golf bags, and how far the courses are. None of the club rate cards checked on 19 October 2026 lists a transfer price.
One point favours the villa for a group: the price is per golfer, and a society of eight or twelve shares one house instead of several hotel rooms.
Against a five-star hotel: what each option includes
Three Marrakech hotels publish a golf package on their official websites. We re-read each page on 19 October 2026:
| Item | Our private villa | Fairmont Royal Palm, 7 nights | La Mamounia, “Golf by La Mamounia” | Amanjena, 3 nights |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Accommodation | Private villa for 3 to 21 people | Room | Stay of 3, 4 nights or more | Stay of 3 nights |
| Meals | Dedicated chef at the villa | Breakfast | Buffet breakfast | Breakfast |
| Green fees | Courses chosen with you | 5: 3 Royal Palm, 1 Noria, 1 Assoufid | At least 2, from 5 courses | Amelkis (or the Royal) and Assoufid |
| Transfers | Private: airport, villa, courses | All transfers | Airport and golf clubs | Airport |
| Extras | As quoted | 15% off spa treatments | 60-minute massage | Not specified |
| Published price | From €1,150 per golfer | Not shown | Not shown | Not shown |
The difference is in the meals row: none of these packages lists dinner (Amanjena only adds “and more”). At a hotel, dinner is à la carte in the restaurant. One published benchmark: at Sesamo, Royal Mansour’s restaurant with an Italian menu (antipasti, primi, secondi), dinner costs 950 MAD per person for two courses, 1,250 MAD for three and 1,550 MAD for four, with tasting menus at 1,500 to 1,900 MAD. Seven two-course dinners come to 6,650 MAD per person before drinks. Fairmont Royal Palm also sells a Day Pass at 1,400 MAD excluding drinks (pool, three-course lunch and 200 MAD spa credit), a useful price marker for a non-golfing partner’s day. Our guide to Marrakech golf hotels covers where each one sits.
The hotel keeps its strengths: the Fairmont has its course on the estate (handicap 28 or better required), and a room suits a couple who want neither a kitchen nor a house. The villa wins when the group wants to eat together, at its own time, without booking a table.
What you still pay on the day
Villa or hotel, some charges are settled at the club on the day you play. Based on the rate cards checked on 19 October 2026:
- The caddie: at Royal Golf Marrakech, in cash, directly to the caddie. Carry dirhams.
- Buggies: 350 to 450 MAD for 18 holes depending on the club, at the price shown per buggy.
- Club hire: 400 MAD for 18 holes at Royal Golf Marrakech, Al Maaden, Assoufid and Atlas Golf; Amelkis lists a “bag rate” of 350 MAD.
- The range: practice balls are included in the green fee at Assoufid; Al Maaden charges 30 MAD a bucket with a green fee.
When you ask for a quote, check which of these the per-golfer price already covers. Travelling with your own clubs avoids the hire fee; airline rules are in our guide to flying to Morocco with golf clubs.
Getting a like-for-like quote
To compare a villa and a hotel on the same basis, send us the details our request form asks for:
- the number of golfers and non-golfers;
- arrival and departure dates, and whether they are flexible;
- how many rounds, and any preferred courses;
- preferred tee times (morning or afternoon);
- your budget per person, and any extras (private chef, spa, excursions).
Ask for the quote to state what the per-golfer price covers and what is paid on the day, such as the caddie in cash at Royal Golf Marrakech. For the golf alone across Morocco, see the cost of a golf week in Morocco.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a private villa with a chef for a Marrakech golf trip?
Our offer starts at €1,150 (about £970) per golfer, with a private villa for 3 to 21 people, a dedicated chef, private transfers and courses chosen with you. The final price depends on the length of stay, the courses, the group size and the villa, and is set in the quote.
Are green fees included in the €1,150 price?
Our offer page lists rounds on Marrakech’s courses, chosen with you, among what the stay includes. The number of rounds is set out in the quote, together with any caddies and buggies.
Is a villa with a chef dearer than a five-star hotel?
Not something anyone can answer without your dates: no Marrakech hotel golf package shows a price. The Fairmont Royal Palm, La Mamounia and Amanjena packages list breakfast and none lists dinner, whereas our villa stay includes a dedicated chef.
How much are green fees for a week in Marrakech?
For five 18-hole courses, 4,550 to 5,900 MAD per player depending on the courses, based on rate cards published as of 19 October 2026. The caddie, compulsory since 29 May 2025, is extra on every round.
Do you sell flights?
No: we do not sell flights or packages. You book your own flights, and we handle the airport welcome, transfers, accommodation, golf and activities.
