Excluding flights, the golf on a Marrakech trip costs 1,950 to 3,850 MAD per player for three rounds over 4 nights, and 3,250 to 5,900 MAD for five rounds over 7 nights, depending on which of the three course tiers below you choose, based on the rate cards published by the clubs on 12 October 2026. The caddie, compulsory on every course, and any buggy come on top of every round. Accommodation and transfers have no fixed public price: they depend on your dates and are priced in a quote.

This page breaks a Marrakech golf holiday down line by line, with a source and a date for every figure. For the cost of the golf alone across Morocco, see our guide to the cost of a golf week in Morocco. Here we look at the full trip budget in Marrakech, and at what an all-inclusive golf package actually includes.

Green fees: the part you can price

Of the thirteen Marrakech courses we cover, eight show a current 18-hole visitor green fee. The rest publish nothing, or still show an expired rate card. All prices are in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), as published.

At Royal Golf Marrakech a forecaddie has been compulsory since 28 May 2025 and is charged per caddie, not per player: 200 MAD for one or two players, 250 MAD for three, 300 MAD for a fourball, so 75 MAD a head in a fourball. Fairmont Royal Palm showed a 2025-2026 rate card (its website no longer responds, 16 October 2026) and PalmGolf Ourika shows one valid until 30 September 2026, so we do not quote them. Noria shows no rate (booking engine checked on 16 Oct 2026); Rotana and Akenza publish no rates. Course-by-course detail is in our ranking of the cheapest golf in Marrakech.

Golf budget by tier, for 4 and 7 nights

We count three rounds for 4 nights and five rounds for 7 nights, which leaves at least one day without golf. Three tiers, depending on the courses:

  • Tier 1: The Tony Jacklin, Atlas Golf, The Montgomerie (plus a second round at The Tony Jacklin and The Montgomerie over 7 nights).
  • Tier 2: Amelkis, Samanah, Royal Golf Marrakech (plus The Montgomerie and The Tony Jacklin over 7 nights).
  • Tier 3: Al Maaden Golf, Assoufid Golf Club, Royal Golf Marrakech (plus Samanah and Amelkis over 7 nights).

How to read it: one caddie per player, in a fourball at Royal Golf (75 MAD). The buggy is shown at the club’s published 18-hole price; ask when booking whether that covers one buggy for two players. These are the rate cards as of 12 October 2026, and any club can change them.

Accommodation: why there is no fixed price

We found no official website of a golf-linked hotel or riad that shows a fixed nightly rate for the 2026-2027 season: the rate appears once you enter dates in a booking engine. That is why accommodation is priced in a quote, for your dates.

To see which hotels really sit on a course, read our guide to Marrakech golf hotels, and to choose an area that suits your courses, see our Marrakech page.

Transfers, meals and extras

Transfers. None of the clubs we checked publishes a transfer price. The cost depends on group size, vehicle and how far apart the courses are: five different courses means more driving than two courses played twice.

Meals. Only one club gives a benchmark. Atlas Golf sells the 18-hole green fee at 650 MAD on its own, or 850 MAD with lunch (the “Passion Pass”), a difference of 200 MAD. Lunch is a starter or main course, a dessert, one soft drink and a tea or coffee. The other clubs publish no priced menu.

Equipment. If you are not bringing your clubs, an 18-hole rental set is listed at 400 MAD at Royal Golf, Al Maaden, Assoufid and Atlas Golf. Amelkis lists an “18-hole bag” line at 350 MAD without saying whether it is a rental. To decide, see our guide on whether to hire golf clubs in Morocco or bring your own.

Flights. Not included in any figure on this page; you book them yourself.

All-inclusive golf holidays in Marrakech: what is included and what is not

In golf, “all-inclusive” means different things from one offer to the next. The term covers three different kinds of trip. In the offers we read on 15 October 2026, one operator’s published terms leave caddies, buggies and equipment to be paid separately, at the club.

A tour operator's golf package

The Marrakech golf packages published by a UK golf operator include hotel nights, a set number of prepaid green fees (two to five, depending on the package chosen) on a fixed list of courses, airport and hotel-to-course transfers, and use of the practice ground, where tokens may be required. Their terms exclude caddies, buggies, electric trolleys, club hire and pro shop purchases, all paid by the client on the day of play; caddies are paid directly by the golfer. Lunch and dinner are not included unless stated, nor are refreshments and snacks. In the day-by-day itineraries, tee times are shown as “TBC”. Flights are not included in these packages.

An all-inclusive hotel

Here, “all-inclusive” describes the hotel’s board, not the golf. For two all-inclusive hotels in Marrakech, the “what is included” list published by another UK golf travel company stops at meals and refreshments, the hotel’s sports activities and a shuttle to the city centre, plus golf nets at one of them. No green fee appears. In the packages we read from these two companies, golf added to an all-inclusive board is spelled out, with the number of prepaid rounds. If you plan to have lunch at the clubhouse on golf days, ask whether that meal is covered by your board.

A tailor-made trip

Each item is chosen separately: courses, number of rounds, accommodation, transfers. Anything not on the quote is paid locally: ask for the list of what is included. The clubs’ published rate cards, summarised in the table below, let you check every line whatever the formula.

Prices are from the clubs’ official rate cards checked in October 2026, and any club can change them. Each club’s caddie and handicap rules are set out in our guide to handicap, dress code and caddies in Morocco.

What the packages we read do not cover

  • The caddie and the tip. In the packages we read, you pay the caddie directly, in cash at Royal Golf and Royal Palm. A UK golf travel company’s travel tips say tipping caddies is customary; none of the rate cards we checked gives an amount.
  • The buggy. Charged separately on every rate card we checked, and excluded in the package terms we read.
  • Electric trolleys, club hire and the pro shop. Excluded from the same packages and paid at the club on the day.
  • Drinks and lunch on the course. The package terms we read exclude refreshments and snacks, and lunch unless stated, including when the board is all-inclusive.
  • A guaranteed tee time. The itineraries we read show it as “TBC”, and Assoufid gives members priority on the 1st tee until 9.30am.

So bring dirhams in cash for caddies. The UK government notes that the dirham is a closed currency that cannot easily be exchanged outside Morocco, and that foreign currency worth 100,000 MAD or more must be declared on arrival and departure. British visitors can stay up to 90 days for tourism without a visa.

How to bring the bill down without changing destination

  • Mix the tiers. One round at Royal Golf or Al Maaden plus two at The Tony Jacklin or The Montgomerie costs less than three Tier 3 rounds.
  • Play Royal Golf as a fourball. The compulsory caddie works out at 75 MAD a head for four players, against 100 MAD for two.
  • Watch the season. Al Maaden drops from 1,350 MAD in high season to 840 MAD from 1 July to 4 September 2027. Atlas Golf also shows a 500 MAD summer rate, without exact dates.
  • Replay a course. Fewer different courses also means less driving between your base and the first tee.

Frequently asked questions

The term has no single meaning. In a UK operator’s golf packages checked on 15 October 2026: accommodation, a set number of prepaid green fees on named courses, and airport and hotel-to-course transfers. Caddies, buggies, electric trolleys, club hire and pro shop purchases are excluded and paid on the day of play; flights are not included in these packages. At an all-inclusive hotel, the term refers to the board, with no green fee.

For five rounds over 7 nights, green fees alone range from 3,250 to 5,900 MAD per player depending on the courses, based on rate cards published on 12 October 2026. Caddies, buggies, accommodation, transfers and meals come on top; flights are not included.

Among current rate cards, summer rates aside, The Tony Jacklin Marrakech has the lowest 18-hole visitor green fee at 600 MAD, ahead of Atlas Golf (650 MAD, a 9-hole course played twice) and The Montgomerie (700 MAD).

Yes: a Royal Moroccan Golf Federation circular of 29 May 2025 makes a caddie compulsory on every course. At Royal Golf Marrakech the forecaddie is paid in cash, 200 to 300 MAD per caddie depending on the number of players; at Royal Palm at least one caddie per group is required. Other rate cards list the caddie as an option or do not mention it.

Yes, for caddies: at Royal Golf Marrakech the forecaddie is paid in cash directly, and at Royal Palm the caddie, 200 MAD a round, was also paid in cash (2025-26 rate card; club website offline on 16 October 2026). The UK government notes that the dirham cannot easily be exchanged outside Morocco.

In summer. Al Maaden shows 840 MAD from 1 July to 4 September 2027, against 1,350 MAD in high season, and Atlas Golf publishes a 500 MAD summer rate for 18 holes.
