The Montgomerie Marrakech clubhouse seen from the first-hole flag, with the Atlas on the horizon

Almost every golf club in Marrakech has a clubhouse restaurant, but few publish opening hours, prices or a drinks list. On the official websites we checked on 15 October 2026, Samanah, Al Maaden, Amelkis and Royal Golf Marrakech publish a priced menu, and two clubs price a Sunday offer: Al Maaden’s brunch (490 dirhams) and Royal Golf Marrakech’s Sunday menu (600 MAD). Only Atlas Golf and Fairmont Royal Palm sell pool access to visitors. As for alcohol, only Samanah publishes a drinks list; the Fairmont and Atlas Golf mention cocktails or wine, without a list.

Marrakech golf clubhouses, club by club

Only what each club publishes itself (website, menu, rate card) is shown, checked on 15 October 2026 for the 13 Marrakech courses on our site. “Not published” means the club says nothing about it online, which does not prove the facility is missing.

Samanah, Al Maaden and Royal Golf Marrakech publish the most (hours, menus, booking rules). Akenza and Rotana publish nothing: if either is on your itinerary, plan lunch elsewhere or get it confirmed.

Lunch between rounds: published hours and prices

Lunch at the clubhouse is the easiest break in a golf day: 18 holes in the morning, lunch on site, then a 9-hole loop or back to the hotel. Four clubs publish a menu with prices. The figures below come from the menus we read on 15 October 2026, in dirhams.

ClubPublished hoursMain coursesQuicker options
Samanah (Le Mulligan)8am – 7pm, daily140 to 295 MAD“Between two holes” snacks 90 to 150 MAD; breakfast 90 or 150 MAD

AmelkisOpen daily (hours not published)150 to 160 MADPizzas 60 to 120 MAD, burgers 90 MAD, breakfast 50 to 70 MAD
Royal Golf MarrakechSittings at 12.30pm and 2.30pm, last orders 3.45pm250 to 360 MADStarters 160 to 210 MAD; Oualidia oysters 180 MAD for six

At Royal Golf Marrakech, booking is required and lunch is served at fixed times, so pick a tee time that gets you in before the second sitting. Samanah also offers takeaway meals, delivery out on the course and a refreshment stand at the range; at Fairmont Royal Palm, the “Snack & Swing” service lets you order snacks and drinks during your round.

Atlas Golf does not publish a menu, but sells passes that include lunch: a starter or main course (under 200 MAD on the à la carte menu), dessert, one soft drink and a tea or coffee. The “Passion Pass” combines 18 holes and lunch for 850 MAD. Atlas Golf’s rate card carries no validity dates, so confirm the price when you book.

Sunday brunch at the golf club

Four clubs advertise a Sunday offer, and two publish the price:

  • Al Maaden: buffet brunch from 12.30pm to 4pm, 490 MAD per person, with salads, a sushi station, paella, tapas, tagines, wok cooking and grills. The à la carte menu is not served that day.
  • Royal Golf Marrakech: Sunday menu at 600 MAD (starter, main course, dessert).
  • Samanah: buffet and barbecue from midday; price not published.
  • Assoufid: brunch at the clubhouse every Sunday; price and times not published.

Ideal at the end of a trip, after a final round on Sunday morning: book the table with the tee time.

Pools: what a non-golfing partner can use

A golf clubhouse is not a beach club. In Marrakech, only two golf venues sell day access to a pool:

  • Atlas Golf: the “Swimming pool” pass costs 400 MAD, with access to the spa pool and lunch. For the golfer, the “Swing, Lunch & Swim” pass at 800 MAD combines 9 holes, lunch and the pool. Both prices are on the same undated rate card.
  • Fairmont Royal Palm: the hotel’s Day Pass costs 1,400 MAD, drinks extra. It includes a welcome mocktail, access to the 2,000 m² pool, a three-course Mediterranean lunch at L’Olivier and a 200 MAD spa credit to use the same day. Children under 12 pay half.

Assoufid does have a pool, but it belongs to its private pavilion, which is hired for events of up to 15 people. For the rest of a non-golf day (spa, sightseeing, excursions), see our guide to a golf holiday in Marrakech with a non-golfing partner.

Alcohol at Marrakech golf clubs

In Morocco, alcohol is served in licensed venues. UK government travel advice states that drinking in the street, or anywhere other than a licensed restaurant or bar, is illegal and can lead to arrest. Here is what the golf clubs publish:

  • Samanah publishes the only drinks list: beers from 60 to 70 MAD, Moroccan wines from 250 to 500 MAD a bottle and 65 MAD a glass, cocktails from 100 to 140 MAD, plus an alcohol-free beer and mocktails.
  • Fairmont Royal Palm: the Legends’ Bar at the country club serves drinks and signature cocktails on a terrace facing the course; the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Capricci, advertises a selection of wines.
  • Atlas Golf: Touggana, the resort’s evening restaurant, advertises a wine cellar of Moroccan and French wines; no list is published.
  • Al Maaden (bar open until 8pm), Assoufid (bar-restaurant) and Amelkis (“cosy bar”) have a bar but publish no drinks list. The other clubs say nothing.

Three rules worth knowing. Drink-driving is zero tolerance: the UK government says any alcohol in your system means a fine and possible imprisonment, so if your society plans a drink at the 19th hole, book transfers with a driver. During Ramadan, French government travel advice says it is not possible to buy alcohol. And if a drink after the round matters to your group, ask the club to confirm what it serves, especially where nothing is published.

Changing rooms, pro shop, club hire and payment

Most visiting golfers arrive from the hotel already changed, so changing rooms matter most after the round. Four clubs mention them: Samanah (changing rooms, lockers and showers), Fairmont Royal Palm (men’s and ladies’ locker rooms with showers and secure storage), Assoufid and Royal Golf Marrakech. Two clubs publish pro shop hours: Assoufid from 7.15am to 6pm (varying with the season) and Amelkis from 8am to 7pm in summer and 8am to 6pm in winter.

If you travel without your bag, hiring a set usually costs 250 MAD for 9 holes and 400 MAD for 18: that is the price at Al Maaden, Assoufid and Royal Golf Marrakech (Srixon, XXIO or TaylorMade bags). Atlas Golf charges 200 MAD and 400 MAD; Amelkis lists a “bag rate” of 250 MAD and 350 MAD. Samanah hires out men’s, ladies’ and junior sets, right- and left-handed.

Payment is the least documented point: no club publishes which payment methods its restaurant or pro shop accepts. Samanah only states that its online bookings are paid by bank card, in dirhams. Royal Golf Marrakech says the caddie is paid in cash, directly to the caddie, and caddies have been compulsory on every course in Morocco since a Royal Moroccan Golf Federation circular of 29 May 2025. Bring some dirhams in cash.

Planning a full day at the club

With this information, a full day is easy to plan. At Samanah, the restaurant opens at 8am: breakfast, tee off, lunch at Le Mulligan, then the range in the afternoon. For a couple where only one plays, Atlas Golf and Fairmont Royal Palm are the only golf venues selling a pool-and-lunch day. Our Marrakech golf courses compared guide covers the rest: green fees, designers and access rules.
