Golfer at the end of his swing in front of palm trees

A Morocco golf tour fits into 7 days along the Marrakech, Rabat, Casablanca line: three rounds in Marrakech, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, then The Tony Jacklin or Casa Green in Casablanca. The three cities are linked by ONCF, the national railway: 3 hours 49 non-stop from Marrakech to Rabat Agdal, then 50 minutes on a direct train to Casa Voyageurs. With 10 days you add Agadir and its Atlantic courses, by road. Published visitor green fees for a full round run from 420 MAD (The Tony Jacklin Casablanca on a weekday) to 1,350 MAD (Al Maaden).

Train times: ONCF’s own booking site, for Tuesday 10 November 2026. Drive times: calculated on the actual road network (OSRM, without traffic). Green fees: each club’s official rate card, re-read on 19 October 2026.

Getting between stops: ONCF train or road

The table compares ONCF’s published timetable for Tuesday 10 November 2026 with the OSRM drive time, without traffic or stops.

LegONCF train (published times)Road (OSRM)

Marrakech → AgadirNo train in ONCF’s resultsMarrakech station → Golf de l’Océan: 245 km, 2 h 57

Two practical points. Stations are in town and courses on the edge of it: allow 27 minutes by road from Rabat Agdal station to Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (13.4 km), and 26 minutes from Casa Voyageurs to The Tony Jacklin Casablanca (19.6 km). And a fourball with four golf bags travels far more comfortably in a private vehicle than hauling bags along platforms: the train suits a couple, or a player who has left the clubs at the hotel.

The 7-day tour, day by day

Day 1: land in Marrakech, nine holes

On a morning arrival, The Montgomerie is the closest course to the airport: 3.9 km, about 8 minutes by road. The visitor nine-hole rate is 400 MAD. For every course in the city, see our page on golf in Marrakech.

Day 2: Royal Golf Marrakech

The city’s historic course, opened in 1927 on the old Ouarzazate road. Royal Golf Marrakech charges 1,200 MAD for 18 holes. A forecaddie is compulsory, paid in cash, per caddie rather than per player: 200 MAD for one or two players, 250 MAD for three, 300 MAD for a fourball.

Day 3: Al Maaden or Assoufid

Al Maaden Golf, a Kyle Phillips design, costs 1,350 MAD for 18 holes in high season (5 September 2026 to 30 June 2027). Assoufid, by Niall Cameron, charges 1,300 MAD (1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027) and caps the handicap at 35, with a certificate shown at reception.

Day 4: train to Rabat, the Green course at the end of the day

The 7.35am non-stop reaches Rabat Agdal at 11.24am. Once checked in, the Green course at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (9 holes, par 32, 300 MAD) makes a good loosener. The club is closed on Mondays, so make sure the Rabat leg never falls on one.

Day 5: Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, Red or Blue

Royal Golf Dar Es Salam (Robert Trent Jones, 1971) requires a handicap below 18 for the Red course and below 28 for the Blue. The online rate card, headed “Rates 2025”, shows 1,200 MAD for the Red, 850 MAD for the Blue and 200 MAD for a caddie. The club’s rules are covered in our Rabat golf trip guide.

Day 6: train to Casablanca, The Tony Jacklin

The non-stop train runs from Rabat Agdal to Casa Voyageurs in 50 minutes; by car, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam is 1 h 25 from The Tony Jacklin Casablanca. This par-72 18 in the Bouskoura forest, with ten artificial lakes, lists a visitor green fee of 420 MAD on weekdays and 600 MAD at weekends (caddie 150 MAD). See the course page for The Tony Jacklin.

Day 7: Casa Green, then home

A final round at Casa Green Golf Club (Jeremy Pern, 2013, par 72), which does not publish its rate, then departure. The Tony Jacklin is 23 minutes from Mohammed V airport (20 km). If your flight home leaves from Marrakech, the non-stop train from Casa Voyageurs takes 2 h 54.

The 10-day tour, with Agadir

Ten days keep the short tour and add a round in Marrakech plus the Agadir leg:

  1. Days 1 to 4, Marrakech: nine holes at The Montgomerie, Royal Golf Marrakech, Al Maaden, then Assoufid or Samanah (Nicklaus Design, 1,100 MAD public 18-hole rate, 20 minutes from the airport according to OSRM).
  2. Days 5 and 6, Rabat: non-stop train, the Green course on arrival, Red or Blue the next day.
  3. Day 7, Casablanca: non-stop train from Rabat Agdal, then The Tony Jacklin Casablanca.
  4. Day 8, the drive to Agadir: 451 km, about 5 hours without stops. The only day of the tour without golf.
  5. Day 9, Golf de l’Océan: 27 holes by Belt Collins, 850 MAD from 1 October 2026 to 30 April 2027, or 2,200 MAD for a three-round package.
  6. Day 10, Tazegzout then the airport: Kyle Phillips’s 18 on the clifftops of Taghazout Bay (opened 2014), 46 minutes by road from Agadir airport (42 km).

If the day 8 drive looks too long, take the train from Casablanca back to Marrakech (2 h 54), then the motorway to Agadir (245 km, just under 3 hours to Golf de l’Océan). Choosing the coastal courses and pacing the two cities are covered in our Marrakech and Agadir twin-centre golf holiday guide.

For the flight home from Agadir, Ryanair’s published route list, checked on 19 October 2026, links Agadir with London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh, Dublin, Paris-Beauvais, Marseille, Toulouse, Nantes and Brussels-Charleroi, among others. A route on the list is not a promise of frequency: check the days it flies for your dates.

The Mediterranean option: Tangier and Cabo Negro

If you already know Agadir, the north makes a different finish. A non-stop train links Casa Voyageurs and Tangier Ville in 2 h 17; on 10 November 2026 it leaves every hour from 6am to 9pm, except at 1pm and 8pm. Three courses are within reach:

  • Royal Country Club de Tanger, founded in 1914 on the Boubana road: 650 MAD for 18 holes;
  • Al Houara, at km 19.8 on the Tangier to Asilah road, designed by Graham Marsh and Vijay Singh (its rate card could not be read on the club’s site on 19 October);
  • Royal Golf de Cabo Negro, at km 1 on the Martil road near Tetouan, on the Mediterranean side: 750 MAD for 18 holes, with a compulsory forecaddie at 200 to 300 MAD.

What the golf on the tour costs

The fees below are 18-hole visitor rates re-read on the clubs’ own rate cards on 19 October 2026, in dirhams as the clubs publish them. A caddie has been compulsory on every course in Morocco since a Royal Moroccan Golf Federation circular of 29 May 2025: carry cash.

Published green fees add up to 4,870 to 5,050 MAD for the 7-day tour (Casa Green excluded) and 7,020 to 7,200 MAD for the 10-day tour (Tazegzout excluded), depending on whether The Tony Jacklin Casablanca falls on a weekday or a weekend; caddies extra. That is the golf alone: accommodation, transfers and trains come on top. The rest of the budget is broken down in our guide to the cost of a golf week in Morocco.

A tour or a Marrakech base: which suits you

The tour is for the golfer who wants to tick off the big names: the royal course in Rabat, the Bouskoura forest, the cliffs at Taghazout. It costs time: half a day of travel at each stop, and repacking every other day. If you would rather play every morning without changing rooms, stay in Marrakech, where our site covers 13 courses. That is how our golf holidays in Marrakech work: a private villa for 3 to 21 people, a dedicated chef, private transfers between the airport, the villa and the courses, from €1,150 per golfer (about £970 at the European Central Bank rate of 19 October 2026) according to the offer page. A tour can also start or finish with a few nights on that basis.

Paperwork: UK travellers need a passport with an expiry date at least 3 months after the date they arrive (gov.uk); Irish passports should have at least 6 months’ validity from the date of entry (ireland.ie). France’s foreign ministry states that a national identity card alone is no longer accepted for entry (page updated 15 September 2026).
