The golf: five rounds
Green fees are the one figure you can plan precisely, because clubs publish them and they move with the season rather than with demand on the day.
Marrakech, high season (October–April): 600–1,200 MAD a round (£47–95 / €55–110). Five rounds across Assoufid, Royal Golf Marrakech, Al Maaden, Samanah and Amelkis comes to roughly 3,500–5,000 MAD (£275–395 / €320–460).
Agadir, same week: 350–600 MAD a round at Golf du Soleil, Golf de l’Océan and Tazegzout. Five rounds: 1,800–3,000 MAD (£140–235 / €165–275). That single choice saves more than a hundred pounds before you have booked anything else.
Summer, anywhere in the south: most clubs cut 30 to 50 %, which brings five Marrakech rounds down towards 2,500 MAD (£195 / €230).
Buggy and caddie: the line people forget
The caddie is usually inside the green fee. The buggy almost never is, at 200–400 MAD (£16–32 / €18–37) a round — across five rounds that is another £80–160 (€90–185). Walking is normal and most courses are flat enough for it.
Budget 10 to 15 % of the green fee for the caddie’s tip, which in practice means 100–150 MAD (£8–12 / €9–14) a round, so 500–750 MAD (£40–60 / €46–69) across the week. It is not optional in the social sense, and it is the part of the trip that matters most to the person carrying your bag.
Where you sleep: the real variable
This is where the £900 trip and the £2,400 trip separate. A comfortable four-star in Marrakech or Agadir runs roughly 600–1,200 MAD a night (£47–95 / €55–110) in high season. A riad in the medina can be less; a golf resort with its own course attached will be several times more, and often bundles rounds into the room rate — worth comparing rather than assuming.
Seven nights therefore sits somewhere between 4,200 and 8,400 MAD (£330–660 / €385–770) at the sensible end, and considerably above that if the hotel is the point of the holiday.
Getting to the tee
Airport transfers run about 200–400 MAD (£16–32 / €18–37) each way in Marrakech. Getting to courses is the same order — most Marrakech courses are fifteen to thirty minutes out of town. Over a week, 1,500–2,500 MAD (£120–195 / €140–230) covers airport plus daily transfers if you use taxis.
Hiring a car changes the maths if you want to move between cities, and it is the only sensible option if you are combining Marrakech with Essaouira or Agadir. For a single-base trip, taxis are cheaper and you do not spend the round thinking about parking.
Food, and the rest
Lunch at the clubhouse is 100–200 MAD (£8–16 / €9–18). Dinner out in Marrakech ranges from 100 MAD at a good local table to whatever you care to spend. 1,500–3,000 MAD (£120–235 / €140–275) for the week is a realistic middle.
